(Matthew 3:13-14) 13 Then Jesus came from Gal´i·lee to the Jordan to John, in order to be baptized by him. 14 But the latter tried to prevent him, saying: “I am the one needing to be baptized by you, and are you coming to me?”

He had no doubt but it was not Jehovah's will. I agree with you he will be resurrected in paradise earth.

I believe scriptures lend reason to believe that John may have had doubts. Yes, he no doubt heard the stories about his cousin, growing up, he leaped for joy in Elizabeth's (his mothers) womb (Luke 1:41). But remember while in prison, he told his disciples to ask Jesus if he truly was the promised one, or if they should look for another. Jesus gave them a reply, and John was no doubt satisfied. - Luke 7:18-22

Had John lived longer, he would have without a doubt, not only a walking talking disciple of Jesus, he most likely would have been an apostle. But he never reached that goal, and Jesus said "Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." - Matt 11:11

I think this about covers it by merely verifying what I already said so i don;t think I have anymore to add..those the editors of this forum might consider adding this intire thread an an article for the achieves.

Perhaps I'll submit an article ... I'll call it "The Two Salvations"

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/29 13:10 I think..by this you mean you or I did not change RR's mind. I did not to expect to change his mind, just like I don;t expect to change any body's mind on the JW GB. What i see was acomplished here, and what I had desired was...I was trying to explain how Bible Students view those who embrace the restored earth hope as 'their own'. Then someone here charged that I was lieing, so then a well-known Bible Students came here and verified the Bible Student's true view those who embrace the restored earth destiny as their own..both in the present day, in Jesus' day and the Hebrew days.

Now this verification is stored on this site's achieves as are the orginal statements I quoted from the JW's Debate baord on beliefnet. So whenever an inquiring mind has doubts as to what Bible Student's may think or believe about those embracing the restored earth destiny as their instead of choosing or desiring the heavenly hope....it's all here and there, stored for all time in the achieves on this site as well as the JW Debate Beliefnet forum.

Now this Bible Student says that he will explain the Bible Student's view on the 2 salvations. And he will. I have already read the Bible Student's explaination of these 2 salvations..both in many conversations and in the Bible student's own printed publication, such as the one I quoted to everyone here. Whoever desires to do so, listen to what he has to say...and then tell me if you believe it is any different then what i already stated when I first started this thread.
