Beyond Scientific - 2005/06/02 09:21 I am enjoying the posts on Theo-Physics

But I have a question …

Science purports to … test things out ... the scientific method … and it is indeed impressive … certainly I bought into it as a physics major …

But recently I came to understand something … what we are studying … is here … this universe … my brother calls what we are learning ... the revealed laws of physics … and what we are coming to understand is wildly fluxuating … fun and fascinating …

And it is useful in that … it helps our brains get out of the box … loosens up our old noggins … encourages us to ask questions …

It’s fascinating to realise that Hermes knew this stuff … thousands of years ago …

But still … it is this Universe … and this universe … is limited … it is the limits that we are studying …

So … IMHO … it seems there is a bigger question behind all this …

Is God …bound by … the things we are studying …

Or is God … beyond space … and time … and mans understanding at this point …

And would the studying of … what is here … this universe … in whatever form the studying takes … delay us ... distract us from … our primary goal … which is learning of God … who is beyond this …

particles ... peace .... philia … Evening

Great scripture Mars!

I think it nicely nutshells evening's post. For us, in this realm, the universe, what may be known about God can only be percieved by us, the things made in this realm. It in no way limits Jah to this universe but rather draws attention to our limited perception of Him.

Re:Beyond Scientific - 2005/06/02 17:13 Yes, you can only know from what you perceive.

It probably sounds to simple for the gnostic silliness.
