Re:I wrote some more this morning - 2005/10/02 03:30 I now think the Daniel Chapter 8 post is finished.

I may rewrite it on my blog and then ask the Bethsarim admin if it could be published here as an article.

Much thanks to Polemotheos for his challenging and insightful questions.

I don't really think you were able to respond to the questions I posed. What I am saying is, the ability to comment back and the ability to validate your position are two different things.

Wuji is right about much of your interpretations, but I still support your freedom amoung us to share them and have them read.

Polemotheos,

How can the truth be validated other than just stating it.

Once the truth is stated the validation happens in the readers mind, or perhaps not.

Jesus told the truth to everybody he could in Jerusalem and yet in how many minds were those truths validated?

Only a very small number.

Perhaps he could have done a better job at telling the truth or did his listeners need to do a better job at validating them?

Polemotheos,

What Wuji said about my interpretations could also apply to anyone examining and interpreting the bible including Jesus or Paul.

The method is simple.

How do the scriptures relate to historical and current events while also connecting with eachother to build a beautifull pattern.

If people were concerned about what Wuji said then no one at all would ever attempt to examine the scriptures.

If no one ridiculed or belittled anything I said then I would probably not be interpreting correctly.

I alway seem to get enough ridicule however, to give me comfort.
