(Leviticus 16:7-10) 7 “And he must take the two goats and make them stand before Jehovah at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 8 And Aaron must draw lots over the two goats, the one lot for Jehovah and the other lot for A·za´zel. 9 And Aaron must present the goat over which the lot came up for Jehovah, and he must make it a sin offering. 10 But the goat over which the lot came up for A·za´zel should be stood alive before Jehovah to make atonement for it, so as to send it away for A·za´zel into the wilderness.
Why would the term Azazel be capitalized unless it were a name? Most sources say Azazel is a demon. Enoch says he is the demon that played the original serpent that disceived Eve. Others describe him as the dragon. We also notice that Jesus went into the wilderness to meet up with Satan.
The Koran quotes Azazel as saying; "Why should the son of fire fall down before a son of clay?" Did this have to do with worship or maybe Satan didn't like the idea of ministering to humans.
Maybe because Satan is a spirit, being more powerful then a human he does not feel he should be of service to humans. And this may explain why he encouraged the other angels of fornicate with woman and use us. He feels we should serve him and not him us. He wants us to worship him, he wants to use our daughters, and he wants us to entertain him by killing each other in battles.
Starting to remind me of the entertainment industry.
