I felt the same as you - alone, isolated, separated from and unloved by God. It's the worst - the lowest feeling in the world.
It's a wonderful, AWESOME thing when we finally realize how much He really does love us - He gave us His Son! Romans 8 is quite a revelation without any interpretational 'help' isn't it?
NOTHING..."will be able to separate us from God's love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!"
