We should not go beyond what this says. To be united around the words of Jesus, and around those teachings which move us to be godly, is one thing. To be united around speculative interpretation of Bible prophecy or on interpretation of other obscure Bible passages is another thing.

Eventually those obscure bible passages will be completely understood.

This means that we will eventually be united around their meaning.

In order to reach that point speculation, interpretation and readjustment is necessary.

Otherwise 2nd Corinthians 13:11 was said in vain.

If this can be done peaceably the God of love and peace will be with us.

In this way success is guaranteed.

Please continue speculating.

Re:YORWW Forum - 2005/08/21 16:23 The simple fact is, we will never reach infinite and perfect knowledge of all things. So invariably there must be honest room for searching the unknown and leeway for being wrong. Your Peace, Surrender, In You,

Re:YORWW Forum - 2005/08/22 00:14 Polemotheos,

I think you may be right however, if Jehovah took the time to inspire some writings in a book intended for us then he must have also intended that we eventually understand even the most obscure thing written.

Outside of the inspired word I expect there are things we may never understand.

An intresting thing to consider is that 'out side' knowledge makes the inspired word understandable.

For example; What does (Isaiah 40:25-28) really mean unless you understand physics such as (E=m*c^2).

Who knows how many more physics, metaphysics, and philosophical concepts will help give us sight into the profound word of God?
