Making God's Name Manifest -- John 17:6 - 2005/08/25 15:13
We all remember, Jesus and his apostles focused their preaching ministry toward the nation of Israel, the Jewish nation, God's Name People initially. -- Matt. 15:24
However, we also remember the Watchtower Society always says their preaching work was modeled after the first century Christians and that they are imitators of the very work of the apostles. But, is this true?
For example, today Jehovah's witnesses are carrying out a preaching and teaching ministry...but to whom? Isn't it true, JWs are actually preaching to worldly people, and not to those who are God's Name people, like Jesus did? So, can we say the ministry of Jehovah's witnesses is really based upon the example set by Jesus himself, that is preaching "the Good News" to God's Name People?
Yes, isn't it true Jesus preached the "Good News" to his own people, God's people, who were at that time, actually "apostate" to God? (Isaiah 10:6)
