Hey Eden, yes definitely agree on your reasoning about the "dis-organised" thing. Although I do note the various prior two witnesses, Zerubbabel and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, Moses and Aaron and John and Jesus, were fairly out front there. Nobody could mistake who they were. I just don't see that this must mean they are organised in an organisation as WTS say.
The situation with Zerubbabel and Joshua is interesting. These are the two that are cross referenced at Rev 11:4, the two olive trees and the two lampstands. Here we see another role for the two witnesses. Being trees, providing oil and light. In fact they are called "sons of the oil".
Also, there seems to be a connection between these two and the rebuilding of the temple. As I have said in other posts plus my blogs on the temple, I think this occurs during the same time as the two witnesses witnessing.
