Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/28 16:05 Second, how do you explain these QUOTES? Taken from: "Glossolalia" Chapter 6 By: Bible Students Congregation of New Brunswick Subheading intitled: "CHRIST'S KINGDOM"

"This sequence of the call of THE CHURCH, the establishment of the kingdom, then the blessing of the REMINDER OF MANKIND is also corroborated by Acts 15:14-17."

"Then will follow the resurrection of the EVIL class, ALL THE REMAINDER OF MEN."

Did NOT The Bible Students Congregation of New Brunswick publish this publication???

"CHRIST'S KINGDOM," "???

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/28 17:15 Ahhh I see now what all the ruckus is about. Most bible students refer to David, Abraham, Isaac, and such as the "ancient worthies". Plus, I've never heard of any bible student calling any of the "ancient worthies" evil. So, I tend to believe that the author of that article forgot to take into account the Hebrew prophets. All the articles I've read from the BS's they all hold the prophets in high regard.

I think that you are projecting that article into Rolando's words. Because he doesn't say anything even remotely close to ... "That 'ONLY' Spiritually unEducated Heathens Will Live Upon The Restored Earth: "

I also don't visit The Present Truth Forum as the forum owner is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/28 17:38 Oh wait ... I looked up that link ...

Rolando says ...
As to John the Baptist, he was the greatest among all men as Jesus stated, but he was not spirit begotten, he was not a true follower of Jesus. Had he been, he would have received his reward in heaven.

Dude, what is up with that kinda comment?? That don't look good at all.

You can't be serious. Plllleeeeaaaassseee tell me you didn't have your thinking cap on when you wrote that.

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/29 03:38 Ok, see, now you 2 see what i am talking about. See how these Bible Students are talking about those who embrace the restored earth hope as their own, be they the ancient ones of the Bible or us today? "Evil ones"? Or saying that "John the Baptist was NOt a 'TRUE' follower of Christ"?
I see an additude being displayed here by Bible Students. It reminds me how JW's say that they do not teach that non-JW's will die at Armageddon and that it is not up to them to say...but then you catch them saying to each each how they are concerned that if one stops attending the Kingdom Hall that they won't get into paradise.

I am simply showing to you, from THEIR OWN quotes, how Bible students display a bigot additude towards those who embrace the restored earth destiny as their own.

Do the the Bible Students honestly think, somehow...that comments such as these, EVIL ONES or saying that john the Baptist was NOT A TRUE FOLLOWER OF CHRIST...is NOT demeaning to us?

This would be like how the JW's are ignorant about calling those who dare disagree with them as "worldly" or "spiritually weak."

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/29 05:53 It's simply amazing to me that people get all hoity toity about going to heaven and there isn't one scripture that states Christians or anyone for that matter go to heaven. The doctrine of going to heaven is a lot like the trinity doctrine. A whole bunch of verses taken out of context to add up to one false doctrine.

You can't tell someone what their hope is. But as my grandpa used to say "hope in one hand and ..." oh never mind.

Re:ParadiseEarth-Purely A JW Invention? - 2005/04/29 06:46 You know, as a Progressive Christian I don't have a b#*ch that these certain religious people choose to belive in trinity of that they are going to heaven..rather it's the fact that they try to force everyone to agree..and that if they do not than they resort to claimng you "evil" or Unorthodox"..or whatever the flavor of the month for fundamantalist name-calling happens to be. We are simply saying that we are not going to put up with this without calling them on it. I think the owners of this site would agree..when I say if certain individuals with a fundamentalist mentality want to promote their anti-restored earth campains or their pro-trinity campains or their anti-social justices campains...then they should take it somewhere else..because..correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me the whole point of this JW Reform site IS about Reform.
Reform from the dogmatic and fundamentalist far right mentality of the structure of the JW's organization..and if we have rejcted the JW org's form of fundamentalism..then I doubt seriously that any of us want some other faith group's brand of fundamentalism.
