Re:The Use of Insulting Theological Terms - 2005/05/12 08:49
So true Warrior, I don't mind so much what man thinks of me, but what God thinks of me. However, I think it is important to set the record straight when something negative is being said not so much about me personally, but what my brethren as a whole believe.
Too often, people have misconceptions of what others teach, not from their own research, but from looking at negative websites, OR, from dialoging with someone who although may claim to be of such and such a group, does not truly represent them theologically.
For instance, we have a gentlmen who has been meeting with us for some time. He says he is consecrated, he partakes of teh memorial emblems, based on this, we extend to him the right hand of fellowship. BUT, he does not believe as we do.
He is a trinitarian!
