 Tanya's story - 2005/06/15 08:49 Both my JW dad and his JW sister molested my sister.

My aunt took horrible pictures of my sister. The elders saw the pictures. They also saw the entire court transcript where my aunt was convicted. Because she weighed over 400 pounds and had to ware men’s jail cloths the stupid Judge went easy on her. She got only four months in jail.

She took pictures of my sister with a pickle you know where. My sister suffered horrible abuse by my JW aunt. My aunt repeatedly abused my sister.

NOTHING was done. NO Action was taken because she threatened to SUE.

About a month after this came out my sister was Publicly Reproved. Her crime “Putting ice down a sister’s blouse with a Elder’s son watching. The boy caught a glimpse of this sister’s breast. Also another young brother saw her breast.

None of the Elder’s kids associated with my sister after the announcement. Soon no one would.

My dad was privately reproved for molesting both my sister and myself. When they questioned us they had the nerve to ask how we dressed at home around my dad. My sister was nine and I was 5. They asked if we did summersaults in our dress. They asked what kind of swim suites we wore. We both had two pieces. This bothered both of us. They asked if we ever kissed my dad on the lips. They asked if we asked to sit on his lap. They asked if we pressed ourselves against him when we gave him a hug. This made it seem like it was our fault. Again we were five and nine years old.

My dad molested my sister since she was two years old. He stated molesting me when I was barley three years old.

My sister use to wakeup crying most nights. She probably still does. My poor sister is a mess.

My mom wrote to the WTS about my aunt getting off without any action taken against her. My mom was told that no action would be taken because she would sue them. My mom then asked if it was still their stand that brothers & sisters in Malawi should refuse to buy a 25˘ card. She was told yes.

This hurt my family deeply. My sister may never be okay. My heart is truly broken.

When my parents went to counseling my mom found out that another brother molested both of his daughters. His daughters were friends of my sisters & mine. We use to spend the night at his house. He would tickle us. He would hold us down & touch our bottoms & tickle us.

There was another sister whose daughter spent the night with his oldest daughter. My mom went to her and explained that the little girl’s dad was a pedophile. This sister went to the elders and asked if it was true.

My mom was publicly reproved for gossiping. I do not understand how the Elders could stand by and watch little girls spend the night with his daughters.

My mom was asked if she was sorry for gossiping. She said “Not one bit. He might have molested her daughter if I had not warned her. He touched my daughters on the bottom & tickled them.” Nothing was done about him doing that. My mom was publicly reproved for doing the right thing and perhaps saving this child from being abused.

This pedophile latter molested another child from the hall. We had moved away by this time, so my mom did not know this child was spending the night with his daughter. He was disfellowshipped and the mom & dad of the girl that was molested were warned not to tell anyone.

To me it seems as though that the Kingdom Halls are a “Pedophile Paradise” Why is it that one can not warn a person that their child could be in danger? Why is it that it is more important not to gossip about the pedophile? Why is the pedophile not told that they can not have children in their home period?

Let me first say how deeply sorry I feel for you and your sister and anyone out there that has anything like this happen to them.I get incredibly annoyed with bad things happening to good people.From my stand point alot of people get dealt heavy hits to them wich they should'nt even have to contemplate...I have seen it too many times...it truly is sad the amount pain thats inflicted without people even knowing.I really wish I knew what to say right now..but i've just been steering at the screen just pretty speachless ...or mabey its typeless ...If you havnt noticed i use humour when I get down..sometimes it dont work.I really hope that every thing works out for you.I cant really offer much but if you want to talk my e-mail is eicerrus@hotmail.com -

 Re:Tanya's story - 2005/07/05 17:01 My deepest sympathies are with you and your sister. No child is desearving of these actions. Although i am not surprised by the way the elders handled your situation, I am surprised that thier was no one in your congregation besides your mother was bold enough to speak out about the horrible acts that were occuring. This just proves that you cannot escape evil even in the JW 'utopia'. My hopes are that you have finally found the peace and love that you deserve.
