YOU are not my people - 2005/08/18 00:59I have been giving thought to the following scripture in regard to Jehovah's Witnesses.
Romans 9
25 It is as he says also in Ho·se´a: “Those not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved ‘beloved’; 26 and in the place where it was said to them, ‘YOU are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”
27 Moreover, Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Although the number of the sons of Israel may be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved. 28 For Jehovah will make an accounting on the earth, concluding it and cutting it short.”
In regards to Jehovah's Witnesses when a person voluntarily abandons or disassociates themselves from the religion an announcement was made in the Kingdom Hall that; "(name of publisher) has disassociated himself from the congregation."
The scripture at Romans 9:26-27 mentioned above therefore could not properly apply to Jehovah's Witnesses as it really was not an announcement that the person was "not my people".
Last year however, a new book was published by the WTBTS where the most significant change was in regard to how this announcement is to be made.
Please see on page 155 of the "Organized to do Jehovah's Will" book published by the WTBTS that a significant and scripturally profound change has been made to this announcement. This seems to be the most discernable change that I can see in publishing a new book to replace the old "Organized to Accomplish Our Ministry Book".
The book explains that the new announcement is to be stated as follows:
"(Name of Person) is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses"
Now because of this change the prophecy stated by Paul in Romans 9:26-27 can be literally fullfilled by Jehovahs Witnesses.
in the place where it was said to them, ‘YOU are not my people
This suggests that a prophetic dissassociation of some righteous people (a remnant) might soon be forthcoming.
Lots to think about.

Maybe this scripture also applies then:
(Matthew 21:43) This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits.
That may account for the thoughts in Isaiah 66:8 and Rev. 12:5, hmmmmm.
But here is something for you to think about:
The WTS and e-W teach that the “churches of the world” or Christendom is “Babylon the Great”, correct!?! In order for this to be true, they would have to be APOSTATE --> also correct!
BUT to be apostate, FIRST you have to know the TRUTH to begin with…
Then teach false teachings, right?
BUT the churches of Christendom have NEVER known the TRUTH, right? So how could they --> Christendom, ever be Babylon the Great? They could not be.
ONLY one religion even remotely knows the TRUTH…and only that religion could ever be the “Babylon the Great” that Revelation speaks of.

There was a "fleeing to the mountains" in the first century prior to the destruction of those pretending to serve God. (Mt 24:16)
I am now starting to think that a "getting out of her" in order to avoid the "dashing of the power of the Holy People to pieces" may be in order. (Da 12:7, Re 18:4)
Would this result in an announcement; "(name of person) is no longer one of Jehovahs Witnesses"?

Hi Ablebodiedman,
I tend to think the "fleeing" associated with Matt. 24:15, 16 has to do with the birth of the "Male Child." (Rev. 12:5) Maybe you remember I cited Isaiah 66:8 above showing the coming birth of this entity from amidst the Jehovah's witnesses organization as a fulfillment of bible prophecy. Based upon the above, I believe there will be a small "remnant" coming forth from among the JWs that will form very soon, as the "Male Child." They will voluntarily leave the WTS organization, and form themselves into a group, right within the "wilderness" away from the WTS organization to finally gain Jehovah's Blessings. -- Isaiah 66:5-9

I think that what you are describing has already been happening.
The woman is being fed (truths) in the wilderness (the Internet) away from the face of Satan.
The face of Satan is in the Kingdom Halls where the "evil slave" can see you.
I think the gathering together part is still forthcoming yet has to happen soon.
