The Letter - 2005/10/17 16:28 I am presently writing "the letter".

It is the letter which the scriptures indicate would be an eventuality:

2 Thessalonians 2

2 not to be quickly shaken from YOUR reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter as though from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here.

3 Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction.

Now the apostacty is in full evidence and the man of lawlessness has been revealed it is time to write the letter.

I consider it to be a very serious matter and will provide a copy to this forum as a witness to time indefinite.

regards

Re:The Letter - 2005/10/17 18:42 Ok, let's look at this again..

*** 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 ***

However, brothers, respecting the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we request of YOU not to be quickly shaken from YOUR reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter as though from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here.
If you are writing this letter ("as though from us"), then I am to not be excited nor shaken by it's contents. This letter is declared by this scripture to be wrong and misleading.

*** 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 ***

Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction. He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god.
The "it" that will not come is not the letter, but rather the presense of the Lord Jesus Christ, our being gathered together to him and the day of Jehovah.

Now the apostacty is in full evidence and the man of lawlessness has been revealed it is time to write the letter. This doesn't say anything about a letter properly declaring the presense of Jesus or the day of Jehovah, and while I don't think the apostacy is in full evidence, I don't see anybody at all fulfilling the role of the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction, who lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” and who sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god.

So I am not sure what the basis of your letter is.

Re:The Letter - 2005/10/20 02:11 " it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed,"

In other words it will come after the "man of lawlessness" is revealed and the apostacy starts.

The internet gives ample evidence of an apostacy or withdrawing from former loyalties and this very forum gives convincing evidence as to who the "man of lawlessness" is.

What seems strange is that you don't understand.

Yes, but the "it" that will come is "the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him". So I don't understand where this letter you are writing is supposed to fit into all this. The only mention of a letter is part of the things that should not be believed because they will be sources of misinformation. I certainly don't think you mean to send letters of misinformation.

I could always be wrong, but I think it's still just a tad bit premature to start naming the man of lawlessness. Everything that we see right now is actually quite tame compared to what I think we'll be seeing all too soon. Once the real stuff kicks in we'll probably have a whole new selection of successors who will make us forget our past choices for the candidates. I think right now is just the warm-up phase so that we can better learn to test all things and evaluate our religions.

Re:The Letter - 2005/10/20 22:17 Myndlon,

You will soon understand.

Make certain you carefully read the above article which has been posted on this board for many months.

In the mean time you should be prepared along with many others on this forum who are aware of the identity of the man of lawlessness and have been given advance knowledge.

2 Peter 3:17

17 YOU, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on YOUR guard that YOU may not be led away with them by the error of the law-defying people and fall from YOUR own steadfastness. 18 No, but go on growing in the undeserved kindness and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him [be] the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

The harvest is now ripe.

Re:The Letter - 2005/10/20 22:46 Aaah, let me guess, the 'Man of Lawlessness' is the Governing Body, right? Or is it the Watchtower Society as a whole?

Nothing new there.
