Re:What defines a Jehovah's witness desciple for b - 2005/03/20 19:38 I have come to the conclusion that some of you do not believe in baptizing people. That is rather dishearting for me. Your Peace, Surrender, In You,

Re:What defines a Jehovah's witness desciple for b - 2005/03/20 19:54 Really? I'll have to go back and read this thread.

I thought we were all supposed to be baptised, in water, fire and the Holy Spirit?

Since being baptised is "being baptised into Jesus' death and rising again" it's a massively important prophetic action for us.

I just guess it's a question of who when and where

Much shalom to you Mars. Have a wonderful sunday.

Re:What defines a Jehovah's witness desciple for b - 2005/03/20 19:54 Melancholymuse you are in similar situation as me. If you or someone else does not agree with me that we need to baptize disciples I am leaving all of you. There is no need for me to remain here please delete my account from this forum. Re:What defines a Jehovah's witness desciple for b - 2005/03/20 19:58 Who's "we" in this instance Mars??

Of course we need to make disciples and baptise people.

I was baptised by a dear pastor friend of mine in the Jordan.

As long as we're becvoming "discaplined ones" of Christ, and not of men or an organisation.

Much shalom. Don't go Mars. I'd miss your posts too much.

Whoa!!! Has someone disagreed with you over baptizing people? There is no way to get out of Jesus invitation to 'go therefore and make disciples, baptizing them...etc - what have I missed?

Re:What defines a Jehovah's witness desciple for b - 2005/03/20 23:40 Yeah, I second what has just been said here. Of course it's accepted that people should be baptised. I thought this whole thread was indicating just how accessable baptism should be for those who truly want it. What makes you feel that anyone here is against baptism?

Don't be disheartened Mars. If there is something that has been said that makes you feel that baptism has been discouraged, let's discuss it.

Much Philia Bro.

Phi.
