The mystery Chieftan of Ezekiel is now revealed! - 2005/11/14 12:55 So what is the scriptural identification of this Mystery Chieftan who rules over God's people and eats bread before the Almighty God Jehovah himself?

Please find the answer below at not cost to you.

Ezekiel himself provides most of the answer:

Ezekiel 37:24-25

24 “‘“And my servant David will be king over them, and one shepherd is what they will all come to have; and in my judicial decisions they will walk, and my statutes they will keep, and they will certainly carry them out. 25 And they will actually dwell upon the land that I gave to my servant, to Jacob, in which YOUR forefathers dwelt, and they will actually dwell upon it, they and their sons and their sons’ sons to time indefinite, and David my servant will be their chieftain to time indefinite.

David my servant will be their chieftain to time indefinite.

Who is this servant David?

An angel named Gabriel gave us the answer.

----- no $charge

Luke 1:20-33

30 So the angel said to her: “Have no fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God; 31 and, look! you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus. 32 This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High; and Jehovah God will give him the throne of David his father, 33 and he will rule as king over the house of Jacob forever, and there will be no end of his kingdom.”

Answer: Jesus Christ is the mystery chieftan of Ezekiel Chapter 40-45

Let any one that wishes take life's water free.

Ablebodiedman,

You have obviously not carefully read the Chieftain account. Jesus Christ cannot be the chieftain. Of course neither is the chieftain the self-made "god" of the living waters group. lol

Jesus is far above the Chieftain of Ezekiel the living waters "god" is far below.

Any man who exalts himself will be humiliated.

Is there a scriptural account somewhere that I may have missed?

Your post suggests that you know of one.

Why are you holding out?

Perhaps you are hoping I will pay you for an answer also?

Both Ezekiel and the angel Gabriel seemed very blatant and sincere.

What confounds me however, is why people would prefer to believe a mystery exists regarding this chieftan mentioned in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 45:22 says "And on that day, in his own behalf and in behalf of all the people of the land, the chieftain must provide a young bull as a sin offering."

So you see, Ablebodied man, the chieftain is also a sinner that has to offer a sin offering for himself. Therefore, this chieftain cannot be Jesus Christ.

Love,
Littleleslie
WOW!!! "Who would'a thunk?"

Re:The mystery Chieftan of Ezekiel is now revealed! - 2005/11/14 22:19 What a load of nonsense. Ezekiel 45 talks about the chieftain and also [u]many chieftans[u] over Israel. It is merely a reference to the religious and/or political rulers over Israel at that time and future. Even Don Burney says on his website that 'chieftan' can refer to the High Priest.

Now get over it.
