Carnivorous Bird Population - 2005/11/26 16:50 I was thinking today that in order for the scriptures to be true there should be a noticable increase in the population of carnivorous birds prior to the time of the end.

Check it out yourself:

This seems to be true except for in the country of India where there is a sharp decline in the population of Vultures however, the scientists are attributing the very large increase in the number of feral dogs to this decline .

Re:Carnivorous Bird Population - 2005/11/26 16:56 Ok,

There is even a web site attributing the increasing vulture population to Jews!

and they also quote the scriptures.

whats the chance of that?

Earthquake / tents - 2005/11/27 04:06 An earthquake in China today.

Notice that rather than go inside the hospital they are staying away and tents have been set up outside.

I am convinced that the place to be immediately before and during an earthquake is a ............. tent.

Here is the link: http://sympaticomsn.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20051126/china_earthquake_051126

here is the quote:

"In Ruichang, which has a population of about 420,000 people, many were reportedly staying away following reports of aftershocks. Tents have reportedly been set up outside the local hospital."

If I am going to make it through the winter in a tent it's going to have to be a good one.

I found this deal on ebay however, they ship only to the U.S.

The more comfortable winter alternative however, is to build an aboriginal style wig wam. I doubt that the weight of the materials (tree bark) would do much damage if they fell during an earthquake.

Heres how to do it:

Here are some photographs of actual wigwams and also some tepees taken around the start of the last century.

Another kind of more northerly wigwam:

Here is a lot of tipi/tepee/teepee stuff

wigwams are also called wickiups:

They look cosy.
