Re:Drinking with the drunkards. - 2006/05/09 11:46Dodger,
Yes, angels will seperate the sheep from the goats.
I believe that both the sheep and goats are Jehovah's Witnesses.
I was baptised in 1998 and it was immediately after that when I began associating more with other members of the congregation that I realised something was wrong.
Yes, I said a vow to "God's spirit directed organization" which now causes me a great deal of grief.
I would really love to be properly baptised by a truly righteous and God fearing person.
I therefore do consider that I was misled however, hope that I now fall into the category of repentance and discipline explained by Jesus in Revelation as follows:
Revelation 3
18 I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire that you may become rich, and white outer garments that you may become dressed and that the shame of your nakedness may not become manifested, and eyesalve to rub in your eyes that you may see.
19 “‘All those for whom I have affection I reprove and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his [house] and take the evening meal with him and he with me. 21 To the one that conquers I will grant to sit down with me on my throne, even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations.’”

Re:Drinking with the drunkards. - 2006/05/09 12:11You say: Yes, I said a vow to "God's spirit directed organization" which now causes me a great deal of grief.
Me too!
Mars Turner will baptise you, I don't know if he is truly righteous or not probably close enough. Closer than the evil spirit directed organization.
Jesus said the truth would set us free, well its good to be free. Finally.
I should have been free sooner but I allowed myself to follow through even when I should have known better.
Peace, Dodger

They will hate you ! - 2006/05/11 01:13ablebodiedman wrote: So the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnessess have made it very easy for the "organization" to exclude those who stand firm and maintain their hold on the laws and commandment taught by Jesus and his Apostles in the bible.
One of the most important commandments handed down by Jesus Christ himself was the commandment concerning baptism. The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses have adjusted this commandment in such a way that a person who makes a vow provides veneration for the Governing Body and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society itself. They have created a celebrated name for themselves.
These vows and their celebrated name reaches as far as the Temple of God in the very heavens.
They have built a city containing 6 million occupants and have lifted themselves up inside of God's own temple while undermining and showing opposition to Jesus Christs commandment regarding baptism!
I hope you agree that this is a very frightening situation which needs to be brought to everyones attention.
For bringing this to their attention I personally have been disfellowshipped and excluded from any interaction with my brothers and sisters in my hometown Kingdom Hall.
They hate me.
They are either very evil or by being misled are truly convinced they are giving Jehovah the worship he deserves.
Are there any scriptures which support what I have said in the above?
Yes:
2nd Thessalonians 2
14 To this very destiny he called YOU through the good news we declare, for the purpose of acquiring the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 So, then, brothers, stand firm and maintain YOUR hold on the traditions that YOU were taught,
Matthew 28:19
18 And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
Genesis 11:4
4 They now said: “Come on! Let us build ourselves a city and also a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a celebrated name for ourselves, for fear we may be scattered over all the surface of the earth.” 5 And Jehovah proceeded to go down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men had built
2 Thessalonians 2:4
4 He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god
Isaiah 66:5
5 Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: “YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame.” 6 There is a sound of uproar out of the city, a sound out of the temple! It is the sound of Jehovah repaying what is deserved to his enemies.

If you stand firm in the truths that you have learned from Jesus Christ and his Apostles which are written in the bible you will be hated.
If you keep Jesus Christs commandments including the very important one regarding baptism you will be hated.
If you try and repeat the truths I have explained in these posts.
You will be hated.
One reason I can think of that a person may repeat the truths I have explained here is to help the listener or reader to endure through some difficult times while maintaining their integrity.
This would be a righteous act.
A good deed.
For this you will be hated.
By speaking truths quoted right out of the bible you will be hated.
John 17:14
14 I have given your word to them, but the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. 15 “I request you, not to take them out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one. 16 They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. 17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth.
If even the ones who call themselves your brother are going to hate you then why go to all the trouble of telling them the truth?
It is another one of Jesus Christs commandments that you should be faithful to:
John 15 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He that hates me hates also my Father. 24 If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have both seen and hated me as well as my Father. 25 But it is that the word written in their Law may be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’ 26 When the helper arrives that I will send YOU from the Father, the spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, that one will bear witness about me; 27 and YOU, in turn, are to bear witness, because YOU have been with me from when I began.
I have helped you to understand many truths and so now it is YOUR turn!
Here is the commandment from Jesus Christ in case you missed it in the above scripture:
27 and YOU, in turn, are to bear witness
I hope you are now starting to understand what it means to be the Faithfull Slave.
A Faithfull Slave obeys his master.
Your master is Jesus Christ.
For doing this you will be hated.
YOU need to stand firm!
2 Thessalonians 2
15 So, then, brothers, stand firm and maintain YOUR hold on the traditions that YOU were taught, whether it was through a verbal message or through a letter of ours. 16 Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, 17 comfort YOUR hearts and make YOU firm in every good deed and word.

Aren't you in San Diego?
Let's do it.
Thank you Polemotheos,
I live in Ontario.
I expect that I and many others will be properly baptised when the following scripture begins fulfillment:
Micah 2
12 “‘I shall positively gather Jacob, all of you; I shall without fail collect the remaining ones of Israel together. In unity I shall set them, like a flock in the pen, like a drove in the midst of its pasture; they will be noisy with men.’
At the present time I am convinced the next verse is now starting to be fulfilled, perhaps some are "breaking through".
Micah 2
13 “The one making a breakthrough will certainly come up before them: they will actually break through. And they will pass through a gate, and they will go out by it. And their king will pass through before them, with Jehovah at the head of them.”

Endurance - 2006/05/14 03:20In order to be a witness about the truths presented in this post while being hated by your own brothers you will need to have endurance.
Revelation 14
12 Here is where it means endurance for the holy ones, those who observe the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” 13 And I heard a voice out of heaven say: “Write: Happy are the dead who die in union with [the] Lord from this time onward. Yes, says the spirit, let them rest from their labors, for the things they did go right with them.”
It is what you say to those who are in jeopardy of loosing their integrity which will determine in large part wether you will have on your marriage garment, a great reward.
Hebrew 10
35 Do not, therefore, throw away YOUR freeness of speech, which has a great reward to be paid it. 36 For YOU have need of endurance, in order that, after YOU have done the will of God, YOU may receive the [fulfillment of the] promise. 37 For yet “a very little while,” and “he who is coming will arrive and will not delay.” 38 “But my righteous one will live by reason of faith,” and, “if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 Now we are not the sort that shrink back to destruction, but the sort that have faith to the preserving alive of the soul.
Who is it that you should speak to when bearing witness about these truths?
You should first tell those who have been caught by Satan. The ones who you see drinking with the drunkards:
2 Timothy
24 But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil, 25 instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed; as perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth, 26 and they may come back to their proper senses out from the snare of the Devil, seeing that they have been caught alive by him for the will of that one.
You should also tell other faithfull persons so they also will properly understand what it means to keep Jesus Christs commandments and do God's will during the time of the end.
2 Timothy
1 You, therefore, my child, keep on acquiring power in the undeserved kindness that is in connection with Christ Jesus, 2 and the things you heard from me with the support of many witnesses, these things commit to faithful men, who, in turn, will be adequately qualified to teach others. 3 As a fine soldier of Christ Jesus take your part in suffering evil.
For doing this many of them will hate you.
This will however, be a righteous act on your part and if you are indeed able to help a brother to actually "break through" imagine what kind of joy that could bring.
As Hebrew 10:36 quoted above says; "there is a promise", for doing the will of God and enduring through the persecutions.
These righteous actswill sew together your marriage garment:
Revelation 19:14
14 Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen.
8 Yes, it has been granted to her to be arrayed in bright, clean, fine linen, for the fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the holy ones.” 9 And he tells me: “Write: Happy are those invited to the evening meal of the Lamb’s marriage.”
