The Sign - 2006/05/20 01:49
There are many scriptures throughout the bible which reference a sign or signal that people will see immediately before the end.
For instance:
Isaiah 66:18,19
18 “And as regards their works and their thoughts, I am coming in order to collect all the nations and tongues together; and they will have to come and see my glory.” 19 “And I will set among them a sign, and I will send some of those who are escaped to the nations, [to] Tar´shish, Pul, and Lud, those drawing the bow, Tu´bal and Ja´van, the faraway islands, who have not heard a report about me or seen my glory; and they will for certain tell about my glory among the nations.
The scripture indicates that it is at this time that all people will have to know it is God. The remaining ones of the earth who may not have heard the good news of the kingdom.
The same scripture already gives some good clues about what we could expect to see in this sign:
"they will have to come and see my glory.”
We will see God's Glory!
What else happens after we see this sign?

Isaiah 66:20
20 And they will actually bring all YOUR brothers out of all the nations as a gift to Jehovah, on horses and in chariots and in covered wagons and on mules and on swift she-camels, up to my holy mountain, Jerusalem,” Jehovah has said, “just as when the sons of Israel bring the gift in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.”
They will bring all YOUR brothers out of the nations.
Are there any other scriptures which indicate that a sign will occur immediately before God's people are collected together? If there is then perhaps we will understand what the sign is and now also need to understand who they are.
Here is a familiar scripture:
Matthew 24
27 For just as the lightning comes out of eastern parts and shines over to western parts, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 28 Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity.
So they are angels.
Also there are more manifestations of what we could expect to see in the Sign as follows:
lightning
sun will be darkened
moon will not give its light
stars will fall from heaven
heavens will be shaken
sign of the Son of man will appear
clouds of heaven
great glory (God's)
trumpet sound
Most of the above seem immediately obvious however, does everyone understand what God's Glory looks like and exactly what is the "sign of the son of man".
I hope the reader agrees that what is being referred to in these scriptures is a pivotal point in mankind's history and so we could expect it to be mentioned often throughout the scriptures.
