WOW!
This is is one huge thread. I haven't read the thread that caused all this, but it sounds a bit tense.
Can I ask some questions of all concerned?
1) Was the discussion solidly based on the scriptures, or intellectual reasoning?
2) Has pride become involved, i.e. has being right become more important?
3) Was the ultimate outcome going to cause upbuilding, 1 Corinthians 8:1-2
Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 If anyone thinks he has acquired
knowledge of something, he does not yet know [it] just as he ought to know
[it]. knowledge puffs up but love builds up?
As a final note. Remeber, anyone who takes on responsibility for an international public forum, has a huge load to carry (ask the administator of this site). If e-w has exercised his responsibility, we should respect that. Remember, we are a 'theatrical spectacle', and the Society would love to see disunity.
