donbodo wrote: Since you used the word "teach", the answer is no. Jehovah's Witnesses definitely have a basic set of beliefs that they teach. It is the responsibility of our teachers to show the errors of false doctrines, like the Trinity and hellfire, and even insist strongly that this is what Jehovah's Witnesses should believe. No one should be permitted to teach these opposing doctrines from the platform or in their answers at the Kingdom Hall. On the other hand, if they want to BELIEVE in hellfire, or even to talk about it openly with some of their friends and associates outside of the Kingdom Hall, then that is their choice. Individual Christians may decide not to associate with them for this reason, and that is their choice. The reform movement is against instiutionally enforced shunning, however. Say you have two witnesses going door to door together. One teaches eternal torment in hell fire the other teaches eternal destruction non-existance.
How do you work out this issue?
Do you say the reform movement does believe in instiutionally enforced shunning if they teach hell fire inside the kingdom hall in there comment and parts?
