Dear all,
It is hard to find a beginning of the story I'd like to tell about myself. Introducing myself without telling to much or to little, hm, not an easy task.
A lot of the users on this board know me under the nickname 'flyaway' on Paradise Cafe. How many times haven't I heard the joke: Please don't flyaway, or where are you flying away to? So a new start with a new nickname: Truelife. This really pictures very well how I've started to feel after going through so many things. I guess my story isn't much different then yours. In many ways our stories are alike.
My husband felt there was something seriously wrong in the organisation, 5 years ago, but he wanted to be sure it was not only a feeling. He heard about the NGO and the childabuse. Well, to make it short. He started to check out every thing he had ever learned and he found out that many things just didn't add up. To many contradictions and to many cover ups. Many things happened and in the end he talked to me about it and within a couple of weeks most of the pieces of the 'puzzle', I was busy making, fell into place.
Since then, almost 3 years ago, I've learned so many new things and I'm very grateful for the thoughts that brothers and sisters have shared. It helped me along this spiritually growing process. Most of all, my relationship with Jehovah God got so much stronger and I've really got the feeling that I've come a few steps closer to Him. That is my greatest joy: getting to know Him better then ever. Nothing is more precious to me. It has changed me enormously.
I hope to learn more through the thoughts you all want to share on this board and maybe I can contribute to your growth by sharing my thoughts.
So far I've seen some wonderful posts and articles on this board.
I think I'm in the right place !! Thanks for having me here.
