Re:Two cents on reform... - 2005/08/05 05:29
Donbodo,
I am now beginning to think that the 7000 in Revelation Chapter 11 and verse 13 are the evil slave.
Revelation 11:13
13 And in that hour a great earthquake occurred, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand persons were killed by the earthquake, and the rest became frightened and gave glory to the God of heaven.
The footnote in the reference bible says the literal translation is; "seven thousand names of men".
These are obviously very specific and known men.
7000 is close to the number who are presently partaking is it not?
It says; "the rest became frightened".
The rest of "the names of men"?
Could this be the remnant which the bible often speaks about.
It also says; "In that hour" as if the reader should be very familiar with the "hour" that the Apostle John is writing about.
Could it be the very same and familiar "hour" mentioned by Jesus in Matthew?
Matthew 24:50
50 the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know,
Try reading the entire Chapter 11 of Revelation again with this in mind.
I think the mystery is starting to make sense.
