Is There a Burning Hell

The concept of a burning Hell, where people are tortured eternally, is often thought of as a Bible teaching. It isn’t. Rather, the whole concept of a Hell as people see it today, where the bad are sent to an underground world that is ruled by an evil God, comes from the pagan Greek Mythology of Hades, the River Styx, and the underworld god, Pluto.
